How DOTFLIX handles copyright complaints and formal takedown notices for shared files.
Last updated: July 29, 2026
DOTFLIX ("we", "us") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. Uploading or sharing material you do not have the right to distribute is prohibited under our Terms & Conditions.
If you believe a file shared through DOTFLIX infringes your copyright, you may submit a formal notice using the Copyright Infringement action on the relevant share page, or start from a share URL and open the report form. Notices must be plain text only — we do not accept links, images, or attachments in the report form.
A valid notice should include:
Upon receiving a complete notice, we will review it and may disable access to the reported material, contact the uploader, and take other steps we deem appropriate. We may request clarifying information. Incomplete or abusive notices may be rejected.
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, contact us via the contact page with a plain-text counter-notice explaining why the material should be restored. We will review counter-notices in good faith and may restore content where appropriate.
We may terminate or restrict accounts of users who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights.
Submitting a knowingly false copyright claim can create civil liability. Only submit a notice if you have a good-faith basis to do so.
General support: Contact form. For a specific share, use the Copyright Infringement button on that share page to open the formal report form with file details pre-filled.
